27 | Es ist völlig egal, wie viel Arbeitsspeicher ein System besitzt - Windows wird standartmäßig immer gleich installiert. Alle Windows-Caches werden dabei an die MINDESTANFORDERUNGEN der jeweiligen Windows-Version angepasst - eine Hardware-Abfrage findet NICHT statt. Der WINDOWS-OPTIMIZER passt verschiedene Windows-Caches, also Speicherbereiche sowie die Auslagerungsdateigröße völlig automatisch an die verbaute Hardware wie z.B. den Arbeitsspeicher (RAM) an. Dadurch wird Windows spürbar schneller und läuft auch wesentlich stabiler bei aufwändigen und sehr speicherlastigen Anwendungen. Hierzu gibt es eine Vielzahl an Empfehlungen auf der Microsoftseite (Quelle: https://docs.microsoft.com) - Die Formeln zur Grössenberechnung werden hier ausschließlich aus diesen von Microsoft empfohlenen Werten entnommen. Alle Windows-Energiesparpläne werden konfiguriert und der neue „versteckte“ Energiesparplan „Ultimative Leistung“ für High-End-PC’s wird freigeschaltet, als „Rocket-Boost“ konfiguriert und aktiviert um Energiesparmechanismen, die die Leistung beeinflussen zu deaktivieren. Verschiedene Features, die standardmäßig nicht in allen Windows-Versionen vorhanden sind werden ebenfalls freigeschaltet. Außerdem werden verschiedene Windows-Oberflächen-Einstellungen optimal konfiguriert, Animationen beschleunigt und ein paar zusätzliche Kontextmenüeinträge wie „Laufwerk bereinigen“, „Laufwerk optimieren“ per Rechtsclick auf einem Datenträger oder „System-Einstellungen“, „Systemsteuerung“, „Alle Aufgaben“, „Energiesparplan ändern“ oder „Task-Manager“ per Rechtsclick auf den Desktop erstellt. Anwendungen können per Rechtsclick mit verschiedenen Prioritäten gestartet werden. Als letzten Punkt werden die meisten „Optimierungen“ die durch tolle „Tuning-Tools“ gemacht werden wieder rückgängig bzw. auf sichere und von Microsoft empfohlene Werte zurückgesetzt.

Windows wird im Verlauf der ersten Sitzungen nun immer schneller. Dies ist normal und findet nach einer Neuinstallation von Windows ebenso statt. Der Neustart nach der Optimierung sollte zeitnah durchgeführt werden.

Bei SSDs wird durch die Defrag.exe ausschließlich das Trimming angestoßen, welches die Lebensdauer einer SSD signifikant verlängern kann, da hier ungenutzter Speicherplatz nach dem Löschen von Daten wieder freigegeben wird. Eine richtige Defragmentierung von SSDs ist nicht möglich und wird von Windows grundsätzlich verweigert.

In diesem Fall die beiliegende Registrierungsdatei >>"Windows Script Host aktivieren.reg"<< ausführen, um Windows-Script-Host wieder zu aktivieren (Windowsstandart).
